Luxembourg: RAWeb, public sector and EAA

In Luxembourg, public sector bodies have been subject to accessibility obligations since 2019, assessed using the RAWeb standard. Businesses are covered by the transposition of the EAA.

RAWeb, a standard close to the RGAA

The RAWeb (Référentiel d'évaluation de l'accessibilité web) is directly inspired by the French method. Our auditors, trained in the RGAA, apply it with the same rigour.

Luxembourg businesses

Banks, insurers, online retailers, telecoms operators: if you offer consumers a service covered by the EAA, your websites and apps have had to be accessible since 28 June 2025.

This page outlines the main points of the applicable framework. It does not constitute legal advice: the texts and how they are applied may change.
